This short guide describes how to install Node-RED on your Raspberry Pi running Raspbian OS.

In the terminal run the following commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y nodered

Translating Pods Framework into Dutch

Last monday I`ve started the Dutch / Nederlands (ISO: nl-NL) translation of the Pods Framework for WordPress. You can find the official translation at translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/pods/stable/nl/default
Initially there was 0-5% translated and after a good day of work Ive managed to get it to 25%. I aim to have it translated to 75% before 1 January 2016.

For those who also would like to participate in the translation sprint, go ahead! There are tens of languages available and almost all could use some help!

PowerPack to switch from GitHub to Bitbucket

As a test I`ve decided to try Bitbucket instead of GitHub to host PowerPack.

The old path was: github.com/Ramoonus/Powerpack
The new path is: bitbucket.org/ramoonus/powerpack

Firewire legacy driver for Windows 8.1 and 10

To use legacy (Windows XP-7) FireWire drivers on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, you have to install KB2907191 and manually select to use these drivers for your product. This driver is installed in c:\program files (x86)\1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)
